A referral agency must keep available for inspection only a register for all development applications and change applications given to the referral agency under section 54 of the Act.

Subsection (1) does not apply for a development application or change application until the decision notice for the application has been given, or was required to be given, or the application lapses or is withdrawn.

The register must include the following information for each development application and change application given to the referral agency—

the day the application was given to the referral agency;

the applicant’s name and address;

a property description that identifies the premises or the location of the premises;

if the application is a development application—a description of the proposed development;

if the application is a change application—a description of the proposed change;

information about the referral agency’s powers in assessing the application;

whether the referral agency asked the applicant for extra information about the application;

whether a referral agency’s response was given by the referral agency and, if so, the day the response was given;

if the application is a development application that was approved—whether a change application for the approval has been made to the referral agency as the responsible entity and, if the change application was approved, the day it was approved.
