This clause applies to an applicant if:
the applicant is the holder of a Subclass 405 visa; or
the last substantive visa held by the applicant since last entering Australia was a Subclass 405 visa.
The Minister is satisfied that the applicant has had adequate arrangements for health insurance for the period of the applicant’s stay in Australia as the holder of a Subclass 405 visa, unless:
the applicant is in Australia; and
the Minister is satisfied that the applicant is unable to satisfy this subclause because of compassionate and compelling circumstances.
The Minister is satisfied that the applicant has adequate arrangements for health insurance for the period of the applicant’s intended stay in Australia as the holder of a Subclass 405 visa.
The applicant:
satisfies public interest criteria 4001, 4002, 4003, 4004, 4013, 4014, 4020 and 4021; and
if the applicant had turned 18 at the time of application—satisfies public interest criterion 4019.
The applicant is free from tuberculosis.
The applicant is free from a disease or condition that is, or may result in the applicant being, a threat to public health in Australia or a danger to the Australian community.
If the applicant is a person from whom a Medical Officer of the Commonwealth has requested a signed undertaking to present himself or herself to a health authority in the State or Territory of intended residence in Australia for a follow‑up medical assessment—the applicant has provided such an undertaking.
