Dangerous dog warning sign

(1)

For the purposes of section 39 of the Act, a warning sign that complies with these Regulations is one that—

(a)

is in the shape of a square with sides that are 40 cm in length; and

(b)

is made of a durable material; and

(c)

is similar to the sign illustrated, coloured and set out in Schedule 2; and

(d)

contains at least one colour that reflects light in the dark.

(2)

A person must not display on any premises, other than a premises where a dangerous dog is kept, a sign that resembles the sign set out in Schedule 2.

Penalty: 2 penalty units.
