Compliance with improvement notice

In force

(1)

The person to whom an improvement notice is issued must comply with the notice within the period stated in the notice or that time as extended under section 130.

Penalty for this subsection:

(a)

for an individual, a fine of $5 000;

(b)

for a body corporate, a fine of $25 000.

(2)

A person must not engage in towing work for the purposes of a regulated towing business, or cause or permit another person to engage in such work, if doing so is prohibited under an improvement notice.

Penalty for this subsection:

(a)

for an individual, a fine of $12 000;

(b)

for a body corporate, a fine of $60 000.
