11.31 Directions to stop activity distressing protected animals
(1)
An authorised officer may give a direction to a person to stop an activity that is causing or likely to cause distress to protected animals.
(2)
A direction cannot be given in relation to an activity of a person if that person would have a defence under Part 2 to any prosecution of the person for an offence of harming the protected animals concerned.
