Delegation of functions by Minister or Environment Agency Head

In force

(1)

The Minister may delegate the exercise of any function of the Minister under this Act (other than this power of delegation) to—

(a)

the Environment Agency Head or any person employed in the Department, or

(b)

any person, or any class of persons, authorised for the purposes of this section by the regulations.

(2)

The Environment Agency Head may delegate the exercise of any function of the Agency Head under this Act (other than this power of delegation) to—

(a)

any person employed in the Department, or

(b)

any person, or any class of persons, authorised for the purposes of this section by the regulations.

(3)

In this section, a reference to a function under this Act includes a reference to a function under the native vegetation legislation.
