10 Qualifications and experience required for registration in mechanical services work
The qualifications required to be able to be registered to carry out mechanical services work under section 221O(1)(a) of the Act are the successful completion of—
a Certificate III course relating to plumbing that includes the approved competency units for mechanical services work; and
the Authority's examination of registration competencies for mechanical services work.
The experience required to be able to be registered to carry out mechanical services work under section 221O(1)(a) of the Act is—
the successful completion of an apprenticeship under the supervision of a plumber who is licensed in mechanical services work; or
at least 4 years of practical experience in mechanical services work.
