20 Qualifications and experience required for registration in water supply work
The qualifications required to be able to be registered to carry out water supply work under section 221O(1)(a) of the Act are the successful completion of—
a Certificate III course relating to plumbing that includes the approved competency units for water supply work; and
the Authority's examination of registration competencies for water supply work.
The experience required to be able to be registered to carry out water supply work under section 221O(1)(a) of the Act is—
the successful completion of an apprenticeship under the supervision of a plumber who is licensed in water supply work; or
at least 4 years of practical experience in water supply work.
