43 Exception to experience requirements where application is made to be registered in another class of plumbing work
Despite regulation 40, if—
a person is already licensed or registered to carry out a particular class of plumbing work; and
the person makes an application under section 221T of the Act to be registered to carry out another class of plumbing work; and
the person has at least one year of practical experience in the class of plumbing work that is the subject of the person's application—
the person is taken to have the experience required to be able to be registered to carry out that other class of plumbing work.
Subregulation (1) does not apply if the person is only licensed or registered in one or more of the following classes of plumbing work—
drainage work;
irrigation (non-agricultural) work.
