Plumbing Regulations 2018

For the purposes of section 221N(1)(a) of the Act—

to be able to be licensed to carry out a particular class of specialised plumbing work (other than thermostatic mixing valve work) set out in Column 2 of the Table in Schedule 3, a person must be a licensed plumber in respect of a class of plumbing work set out in Column 4 of that Table corresponding to that class of specialised plumbing work; and

on and from 18 November 2019, to be able to be licensed to carry out thermostatic mixing valve work, a person must be a licensed plumber in respect of a class of plumbing work set out in Column 4 of the Table in Schedule 3 corresponding to thermostatic mixing valve work.

For the purposes of section 221OA(1)(a) of the Act—

to be able to be registered to carry out a particular class of specialised plumbing work (other than thermostatic mixing valve work) set out in Column 2 of the Table in Schedule 3, a person must be a registered plumber in respect of a class of plumbing work set out in Column 3 of that Table corresponding to that class of specialised plumbing work; and

on and from 18 November 2019, to be able to be registered to carry out thermostatic mixing valve work, a person must be a registered plumber in respect of a class of plumbing work set out in Column 3 of the Table in Schedule 3 corresponding to thermostatic mixing valve work.
