7 Qualifications and experience required for licensing in irrigation (non-agricultural) work
The qualifications required to be able to be licensed to carry out irrigation (non-agricultural) work under section 221M(1)(b)(i) of the Act are the successful completion of—
the approved competency units for licensing in irrigation (non-agricultural) work; and
the Authority's examination of licensing competencies for irrigation (non-agricultural) work.
The experience required to be able to be licensed to carry out irrigation (non-agricultural) work under section 221M(1)(b)(i) of the Act is—
at least 2 years of practical experience in irrigation (non-agricultural) work and the successful completion of an apprenticeship under the supervision of a plumber who is licensed in irrigation (non-agricultural) work; or
at least 4 years of practical experience in irrigation (non-agricultural) work.
