3 Qualifications and experience required for licensing in fire protection work
The qualifications required to be able to be licensed to carry out fire protection work under section 221M(1)(b)(i) of the Act are the successful completion of—
the approved competency units for fire protection work; and
the Authority's examination of licensing competencies for fire protection work.
The experience required to be able to be licensed to carry out fire protection work under section 221M(1)(b)(i) of the Act is—
at least 2 years of practical experience in fire protection work and the successful completion of an apprenticeship under the supervision of a plumber who is licensed in fire protection work; or
at least 6 years of practical experience in fire protection work.
