2 Qualifications and experience required for registration in drainage work
The qualifications required to be able to be registered to carry out drainage work under section 221O(1)(a) of the Act are the successful completion of—
a Certificate II course or higher relating to plumbing that includes the approved competency units for drainage work; and
the Authority's examination of registration competencies for drainage work.
The experience required to be able to be registered to carry out drainage work under section 221O(1)(a) of the Act is—
the successful completion of an apprenticeship under the supervision of a plumber who is licensed in drainage work; or
at least 2 years of practical experience in drainage work.
