12 Qualifications and experience required for registration in refrigerated air-conditioning work
(1) The qualifications required to be able to be registered to carry out refrigerated air‑conditioning work under section 221O(1)(a) of the Act are—
a Restricted electrical worker's licence (Class 2); and
the successful completion of—
a Certificate III course relating to plumbing that includes the approved competency units for refrigerated air‑conditioning work; and
the Authority's examination of registration competencies for refrigerated air-conditioning work.
The experience required to be able to be registered to carry out refrigerated air-conditioning work under section 221O(1)(a) of the Act is—
the successful completion of an apprenticeship under the supervision of a plumber who is licensed in refrigerated air-conditioning work; or
at least 4 years of practical experience in refrigerated air-conditioning work.
