225 Effect of immediate licence suspension notice
If an immediate licence suspension notice is given to a driver—
in the case of a driver who holds a driver licence issued in this jurisdiction—any driver licence held by the driver in this jurisdiction is suspended in accordance with the terms of the notice, or
in the case of a driver who is an authorised visiting driver—any authority of the driver to drive in this jurisdiction is suspended in accordance with the terms of the notice.
If a person who holds a driver licence issued in this jurisdiction is given an immediate licence suspension notice, the person must surrender the person’s driver licence in compliance with the notice.
Maximum penalty—20 penalty units.
(Repealed)
An immediate licence suspension notice has effect even if the driver licence concerned has already been suspended.
