279C Review of amendments made by Road Transport Amendment (Non-registrable Motor Vehicles) Act 2026
The Minister must review this Act to determine whether—
the policy objectives of the amendments made by the amendment Act remain valid, and
the terms of the amendments remain appropriate for securing the objectives.
The review must be undertaken as soon as possible after the period of 3 years from the commencement of the amendment Act.
A report on the outcome of the review must be tabled in each House of Parliament within 12 months after the end of the period of 3 years.
In this section—
amendment Act means the Road Transport Amendment (Non-registrable Motor Vehicles) Act 2026.
