25 Infringement notices for prescribed offences
For the purposes of Division 2 of Part 14 of the Act—
an offence committed against a provision of the Act specified for an item in Column 2 of the table in Schedule 3 and described in Column 3 of the table is prescribed as an infringement offence; and
the prescribed infringement penalty for the infringement offence is the corresponding amount specified for that item in Column 4 of the table in Schedule 3.
A description of an offence specified for an item in Column 3 of the table in Schedule 3 and corresponding to a provision of the Act specified in Column 2 of the table is a description for convenience of reference only and is not to be taken to affect the nature or elements of the offence to which it refers or the operation of these Regulations.
