33A Offence to teach driving without driving instructor authority or in breach of condition of authority
(1)
A person who for financial gain, or in the course of any trade or business, teaches another person to drive a motor vehicle of a kind described in section 33(3) on a highway—
(a)
without holding a driving instructor authority; or
(b)
in breach of any condition of such an authority—
is guilty of an offence.
- 8 penalty units.
(2)
It is a defence to a charge under subsection (1) for the person charged to prove that the person being taught to drive held a driver licence at the time of being taught.
