84AC Raising of matters relating to exceptions in camera detected no‐truck zone offences
An accused in a proceeding for an offence against section 65BA(1) detected by a prescribed no‑truck zone camera who intends to raise a matter relating to an exception under section 65BA(2) must give written notice of the matter to the enforcement agency at least 28 days before the day on which the proceeding is set down for hearing.
A notice under subsection (1) must contain any matter that is prescribed.
In this section—
enforcement agency, in relation to an offence against section 65BA(1), means a person or body authorised by or under an Act to commence a proceeding in respect of the offence.
