124 Blue swimmer crabs
(1)
The size of a blue swimmer crab must be decided by measuring the distance between—
(a)
the notch at the base of the large lateral spine of the crab on one side of the crab; and
(b)
the notch at the base of the large lateral spine of the crab on the other side of the crab.
(2)
The following figure is an example of the operation of subsection (1) in diagrammatic form—
