authorised boat, for the holder of effort units, line units or SM units, means an authorised boat, within the meaning of the Fisheries (Commercial Fisheries) Regulation 2019, for the primary commercial fishing licence under which fish, taken under the effort units, line units or SM units, are taken.

commercial fishing net means a net of a type that is commercial fishing apparatus.

crab apparatus means any of the following items—

a crab pot, collapsible trap or dilly;

a device that is a combination of 2 or more things mentioned in paragraph (a).

eastern non-tidal waters means—

non-tidal waters in the east coast drainage division, other than a listed impoundment; and

non-tidal waters in the Murray–Darling drainage division east of the Gore Highway, other than a listed impoundment.

listed impoundment—

1 A listed impoundment is an impoundment mentioned in schedule 4.

2 However, a listed impoundment includes only the waters up to the full supply level of the impoundment.

prescribed commercial catch, for a species of fish, means the total weight of fish of the species taken under all relevant licences for the fish that is—

calculated periodically by the chief executive from the end of the previous relevant day to the day the calculation is made; and

published on the department’s website and in any other form the chief executive considers appropriate.

• a notification on the commercial fishing app administered by the department known as the ‘Qld eFisher app’

prescribed jobfish means any of the following species—

rosy snapper;

flame snapper;

goldband snapper;

green jobfish;

lavender snapper;

ruby snapper;

regulated coral means—

a species of specialty coral, within the meaning of the Fisheries (Commercial Fisheries) Regulation 2019, stated in schedule 2A, part 1; or

a species of other coral, within the meaning of the Fisheries (Commercial Fisheries) Regulation 2019, stated in schedule 2A, part 2.

relevant landing place, for an authorised boat for the holder of effort units, line units or SM units, means the place stated in a pre-trip notice given under the Fisheries (Commercial Fisheries) Regulation 2019, chapter 6, part 1, division 2 as the place where the boat will be landed.

relevant licence, for a species of fish regulated under schedule 2, part 2 in relation to a prescribed commercial catch, means—

for black jewfish—

in waters other than the Gulf of Carpentaria waters—a K1, K2, K3, K4, K5, K6, K7, K8, L1, L2, L3, L8, N10, N15 or NX licence; or

in the Gulf of Carpentaria waters—an N3, N11, N12 or N13 licence; or

for another species of fish—a licence on which is written the fishery symbol or fishery symbols stated for the fish in schedule 2, part 2 in relation to the prescribed commercial catch for the fish.
