138 Keeping off a painted island
Rule 138(1) amended by S.R. Nos 35/2021 rule 7(1), 135/2021 rule 49(1).
(1)
A driver must not drive on or over a single continuous line, or 2 parallel continuous lines, along a side of or surrounding a painted island, except as permitted under this rule, rule 139(4) or 144A(2).
- In the case of a bicycle or an electric scooter, 5 penalty units;
In the case of any other vehicle, 10 penalty units.
