A person travelling in or on a wheeled recreational device or an electric personal transporter may operate a wearable device while the wheeled recreational device or the electric personal transporter is moving, or is stationary but not parked, if the operation of the wearable device—
does not involve the person touching the wearable device (other than by incidental physical contact with it that is caused by the wearer); and
is for one or more of the following purposes—
to initiate, accept or reject an audio call on the wearable device;
to play or stream audio material on the wearable device;
to adjust volume levels for a purpose mentioned in subparagraph (i) or (ii).
Example
The operation of the wearable device using voice controls to make a telephone call.
