71 Giving way at a give way sign or give way line at other places
Rule 71(1) amended by S.R. No. 135/2021 rule 30.
(1)
A driver approaching or at a place (except an intersection, bridge or length of narrow road, level crossing, or a place with twin red lights) with a give way sign or give way line must give way in accordance with this rule.
- In the case of a bicycle or an electric scooter, 5 penalty units;
In the case of any other vehicle, 10 penalty units.
