207 Parking where fees are payable
Rule 207(1) amended by S.R. No. 96/2019 rule 9(1).
This rule applies to a driver who parks on a length of road, or in an area, to which a permissive parking sign applies if information on or with the sign indicates that a fee is payable for parking.

The driver must—
pay the fee (if any); and

obey any instructions on or with the sign.

Subrule (1) does not apply if—
the driver is using a vehicle for the purpose of the operation of a detection device prescribed for the purposes of section 66 of the Road Safety Act 1986; or
the driver's vehicle is—

a trailer carrying a relocatable digital RSC or mobile digital RSC; or
Rule 207 (3)(b)(ii) amended by S.R. No. 11/2026 rule 5(1).
towing a trailer carrying a relocatable digital RSC or mobile digital RSC.
