4.11A Service of documents by Tribunal portal
Rule 4.11A(1) substituted by S.R. No. 7/2024 rule 4(1).
For the purposes of section 140 of the Act, the sending of a notification by electronic communication to a registered party by the Tribunal that another registered party or the Tribunal has uploaded a notice, order or other document to the digital portal constitutes service of that notice, order or other document.

In this Rule—
Rule 4.11A(2) def. of digital portal amended by S.R. No. 7/2024 rule 4(2).
digital portal means the digital case management system that is in use by the Tribunal from time to time;
Rule 4.11A(2) def. of registered party inserted by S.R. No. 7/2024 rule 4(3).
registered party means—
a person who—
is a party to a proceeding or reasonably expects to be a party to a proceeding; and
has registered an account in the digital portal; and
has agreed to use the digital portal for the service of documents in the proceeding; or
a representative of a party to a proceeding or a person who reasonably expects to be a party to a proceeding where the representative has—
registered an account in the digital portal; and
been instructed by that party or person to receive documents in the proceeding and accept service on the party's or person's behalf.
