Application of Part
36 Application of Part
This Part applies to continued incomplete Western lands lease purchases (but not to pending Western lands lease purchases).
Note.
See also Part 2 of this Schedule. In particular, clause 4 provides that (subject to this Schedule) any rent, royalty, deposit, fee, purchase price, instalment, interest or other amount payable for a continued Western lands tenure remains payable in the same way and the same amounts subject to any variations made by or under this Act.
A continued incomplete Western lands lease purchase is a purchase of land that was formerly under a lease granted under the Western Lands Act 1901 if the payment of the purchase price or any other amount due to the Crown in respect of the purchase was not complete immediately before the repeal of Schedule 4 to that Act.
