Appointment of radiation analysts

The Secretary, by instrument, may appoint a person as a radiation analyst. The person appointed need not be a person employed under Part 3 of the Public Administration Act 2004.

(2)

The Secretary may appoint a person as a radiation analyst only if the Secretary considers the person has the necessary expertise or experience to be a radiation analyst.
