98 Use of reasonable and necessary force

(1)
If a person refuses to comply with a direction given under this Part, an authorised officer or a person assisting the authorised officer may request a police officer to use reasonable and necessary force to ensure compliance with that direction.

(2)
If requested to do so under subsection (1), a police officer may use reasonable and necessary force to ensure compliance with a direction under this Part.
