Radiation Act 2005

An authority issued under section 43 must—

set out the name of the authority holder; and

specify the period the authority is in force and the date the authority expires; and

include the conditions of the authority; and

include any other information the Secretary considers appropriate.

A management licence issued under section 43 must also—

describe the radiation practice allowed to be conducted under the licence; and

identify and describe every radiation source or kinds of radiation sources in relation to which the management licence holder will conduct a radiation practice under the licence.

A use licence issued under section 43 must also—

describe the use allowed under the licence; and

identify or describe—

every kind of radiation source that the use licence holder may use under the licence; or

the purpose for which a radiation source identified or described in the licence may be used.
