152 Energy efficiency label
An energy efficiency label for an item of prescribed electrical equipment mentioned in schedule 4, part 1 or 3, must—
comply with the labelling requirements of the relevant standard for the item; and
not contain any figures, symbols or other words likely to mislead the public about the item’s comparative energy consumption, energy efficiency rating or performance characteristics; and
if the item is sold—accompany the item.
If the item is displayed for sale, the energy efficiency label for the item must—
be attached to the item—
in the way shown in the relevant standard; or
in another way approved by the regulator; and
not be attached in a way that it is obscured from view.
