17A Preservation of regulations under section 204 (marine vegetation for which permit required for cutting etc)
A regulation under section 204 that prescribes any marine vegetation for the purposes of Division 4 of Part 7 of the Act and that is in force immediately before the substitution of that Division by Schedule 1 to the Fisheries Management Amendment Act 1997 is taken to be a regulation prescribing that marine vegetation for the purposes of section 205.
This clause does not prevent the regulation from being amended or repealed.
