53 Commencement of limited access to fishery
(1)
Shares issued provisionally in a share management fishery do not take effect until a day appointed by the Minister by order published in the Gazette for the commencement of shareholding in the fishery and for limited access to the fishery.
(2)
The day so appointed is to be at least 6 months after the fishery became a share management fishery, except in the circumstances prescribed by the regulations.
