(1)
After the species impact statement is prepared and before making an order, the Minister must give the public an opportunity to make written submissions on the proposed order.
(2)
For the purposes of that public consultation procedure, a copy of the species impact statement and a copy of any advice received by the Minister under section 221IA is to be exhibited with the proposed order as provided by section 284.
Note.
Section 284 regulates the public consultation procedure.
