220H Who may initiate action for listing
The Fisheries Scientific Committee may make a determination for the purposes of this Subdivision on its own initiative.
The Fisheries Scientific Committee may also make a determination—
following a request by the Minister or the NRC, or
on a nomination, made in accordance with this Division, of any other person.
A proposal that involves the alteration of the listing status of a species or ecological community (by moving the description of the species or ecological community from one Schedule to another or from one Part of a Schedule to another Part of the Schedule) may be dealt with under this Subdivision as a composite proposal, whereby all aspects of the proposal are dealt with together.
