40ZA Implementation of non-commercial fishing determinations
The Minister is required to review the regulations and other instruments under this Act in light of any non-commercial fishing determination and any allocation of that non-commercial fishing determination.
In particular, the Minister is required to consider whether any restrictions on non-commercial fishing set by the regulations and other instruments (such as bag limits, fishing method restrictions and fishing closures) remain appropriate, in light of the non-commercial fishing determination and allocation, to give effect to the policy objective of the determination and allocation.
