Disclosure of confidential information under Hospital and Health Boards Act not limited

(1)

This section applies if a provision of this Act requires or permits information about a person to be given to the person’s nominated support persons, family, carers or other support persons.

(2)

The provision does not limit the Hospital and Health Boards Act 2011, sections 144, 145 or 146.

Note—

The Hospital and Health Boards Act 2011, sections 144, 145 and 146 provide for a person’s family, carers and other support persons to receive information about the person in particular circumstances.
