The purpose of this part is to provide for the following—
(a)
the continuation of the Mental Health Review Tribunal, as formerly established under the repealed Mental Health Act 2000;
(b)
the constitution, jurisdiction and powers of the tribunal;
(c)
procedural provisions for proceedings of the tribunal.
