Disclosure of photograph of patient required to return
786 Disclosure of photograph of patient required to return
This section applies if the administrator of an authorised mental health service is in possession of a photograph of a person who—
is an involuntary patient or a classified patient (voluntary); and
has become a patient required to return.
The administrator may disclose the photograph to the commissioner of the police service, or another person performing a function in an official capacity, to help locate the person.
To remove any doubt, it is declared that the administrator of an authorised mental health service may require an involuntary patient or a classified patient (voluntary) to be photographed to facilitate the future operation of subsection (2).
