Functions of inspectors

Current

An inspector’s functions are as follows—

(a)

for an inspector appointed under section 555(1)—to investigate, monitor and enforce compliance with this Act;

(b)

for an inspector appointed under section 555(1) or (2)—to investigate a matter under chapter 10, part 4;

(c)

for the chief psychiatrist—each of the functions mentioned in paragraphs (a) and (b).
