23 Inspection of residence documents
A person who is proposing to become a resident of a retirement village may make a request to the operator of the retirement village or a representative of the operator to inspect one or more residence documents relating to the retirement village.
A person who receives a request under subsection (1) must make any of the requested documents in their possession or control available for inspection—
not later than 7 days after the request is made; and
in the manner agreed to by the person making the request; and
without asking for any payment for doing so.
Penalty: 120 penalty units.
Subsection (2) applies regardless of whether the request under subsection (1) is made orally or in writing.
