58 Transitional provision—Non-retired persons living in a retirement village
(1)
Despite the commencement of section 9 of the Retirement Villages Amendment Act 2025, a person who is not a retired person, and who lived in a retirement village with a resident immediately before that commencement, may continue on and from that commencement to live in the village as if the person had been given permission under section 6(1) to do so.
(2)
To avoid doubt, section 6A applies to a person referred to in subsection (1).
