26M Information that must be given to a non-owner resident in a contract check
(1)
In a contract check for a non-owner resident in a retirement village, the operator of the village must give the resident the information required by subsection (2), calculated—
(a)
by reference to the date stated in the contract check which must be the date on which the contract check is given or no later than 30 days after that date; and
(b)
as if vacant possession of the premises the resident occupied in the village was delivered up on that date.
Penalty: 60 penalty units for a natural person;
