108 Roll—inspection

(1)

A manager of a ballot for a proposed amalgamation or withdrawal must make the roll for the ballot available for inspection—

(a)

in the period that—

(i)

starts on the day after the roll must be completed under section 107(6)(b); and

(ii)

ends 30 days after the ballot result is declared; and

(b)

during ordinary business hours at the place the manager performs the manager’s duties for the ballot.

Maximum penalty—20 penalty units.

(2)

The following persons may inspect the roll, free of charge, or take a copy of the roll or part of the roll—

(a)

for an amalgamation ballot—a member of an existing organisation the ballot is about;

(b)

for a withdrawal ballot—a member of the amalgamated organisation from which the constituent part is seeking to withdraw;

(c)

for an amalgamation ballot or withdrawal ballot—a person authorised by the manager.
