29 What happens if votes for 2 or more candidates are equal
(1)
If the manager of the election can not decide which candidate is elected to an office because the votes cast for 2 or more candidates are equal, the manager must decide which candidate is elected by drawing lots.
(2)
A decision under subsection (1) must be made in the presence of a scrutineer who wishes to attend.
