138 Effect of amalgamation on commission decisions
If the commission fixes an amalgamation day, from that day—
(a)
a commission decision that bound a proposed deregistering organisation and its members immediately before that day binds the amalgamated organisation and its members; and
(b)
a reference in a commission decision to a deregistered organisation is taken to include a reference to the amalgamated organisation.Example for paragraph (b)—A reference to an organisation’s obligation to a deregistered organisation is taken to include the amalgamated organisation.
