12 When someone can claim a right to vote

Despite section 10(2), if an eligible member’s name does not appear on the roll, the member may apply to the manager of the election to have the member’s name included on the roll.
Note—Under section 984 of the Act, the application must be written.
(2)
If the manager is satisfied the applicant is an eligible member, the manager must include the applicant’s name on the roll.
