28 Notice of hearing
This section applies to a hearing for—
cancellation of an approval under section 638 of the Act; and
amendment of rules under chapter 12, part 6, division 1 of the Act; and
cancellation of an exemption under section 824 of the Act; and
a deregistration order under section 879(3) of the Act.
A notice under section 27(2)(b) of the time and place of the hearing must also state the following information—
if section 654 or 879(3)(b) of the Act applies—the demarcation dispute undertaking to which the hearing relates;
the reasons for the proposed cancellation, amendment or deregistration order;Example of reasons for paragraph (b)—If the registrar considers an organisation’s rules contravene the Act, how the rules contravene the Act.
any proposed amendments to the organisation’s rules;
that the organisation may make oral or written submissions to show why—
the exemption or approval should not be cancelled; or
the rules should not be amended; or
the deregistration order should not be made;
the person to whom the notice is given may file a written submission within a stated time.
