49 Representation by federation
(1)
After it is recognised, a federation may represent its constituent organisations and the members of the constituent organisations under the Act.
(2)
However—
(a)
an organisation belonging to a federation may still represent itself or its members; and
(b)
a federation may not become a party to an industrial instrument.
