2 References to prescribed donations, grants and loans
(1)
A reference in this schedule to a prescribed donation, a prescribed grant or a prescribed loan is a reference to a donation or a grant made, or a loan given, by a reporting unit—
(a)
to a member of the reporting unit; and
(b)
certified by a relevant officer that the officer was satisfied the donation, grant or loan was necessary to relieve the member or a dependant of the member from financial or other hardship.
(2)
In this section—relevant officer means an officer of the reporting unit approved under the rules of the reporting unit to authorise donations, grants or loans made or given to a member of the reporting unit.
